Emergency and Ambulance Services

Our emergency department is open 24 hours a day and serves approximately 30,000 patients per year. During the day, the emergency department is supported by all branches available in the hospital, and at night it is supported by orthopedics, anesthesia, gynecology, pediatrics and radiology specialists who are on duty in their own units within the hospital. In the emergency department, which serves with a multidisciplinary approach, physicians from other specialties can reach our emergency department in a very short time if necessary. In the emergency department, which is equipped with modern medical devices, initial treatment and observation of patients are performed in observation rooms. In addition, first interventions and examinations can be performed without wasting time in intervention rooms and other technically equipped rooms. Imaging facilities such as magnetic resonance, computed tomography, ultrasonography and all laboratory tests can be performed with the support of radiology specialists 24 hours a day.

We have adult and newborn intensive care units equipped with the latest technology for patients who are brought to our Emergency Department and need intensive care. Our Emergency Department is a Group A hospital emergency department equipped for all medical and surgical emergencies in terms of both team and equipment.

Equipment of the Emergency Department

Except in very urgent cases where the resuscitation team is called due to cardiac and respiratory arrest, patients admitted to the emergency department are evaluated and their vital signs (respiration, fever, pulse, blood pressure) are measured. The patient is then taken to the appropriate room according to the urgency and disease and examined by the emergency physician. As a result of the examinations and evaluations completed in the shortest possible time, our emergency service specialist may request further examinations or consultation from the on-call branch physician if necessary. The purpose of each examination, treatment and consultation, the waiting period and the fee for stable patients are explained to the patient in detail and approval is obtained.

The team providing emergency health services at Esencan Hospital always strictly complies with patient rights. Within this framework, no disclosure is made to third parties in accordance with the principle of “respect for privacy”, except for the disclosure to the patient and, if permitted, to a companion. However, every patient who applies to our emergency department has the right to call his/her own doctor, if any, to ask us to provide information about his/her condition or to request that any branch physician evaluate him/her.

Ambulance Service

Ambulance Service has a staff of nurses and health officers experienced in first aid. Our vehicles are organized in accordance with the Ministry of Health ambulance regulations. You can reach our ambulances, which provide 24-hour uninterrupted service and have all the necessary equipment and technology, whenever you want.
