In the Perinatology unit, which is within the scope of gynecology and obstetrics and where risky pregnancy follow-up is carried out, early diagnosis of abnormalities related to the baby in the womb is provided with various screening techniques such as obstetric doppler ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, fetal nuchal translucency measurement, preterm birth screening and chorionic villus biopsy. However, if the expectant mother has chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, gestational diabetes, and problems related to blood clotting, specialists observe the patient throughout the whole process, allowing a healthy birth to take place.
