Ultrasonography (US)

Ultrasonography (US)

It is a fast and practical examination method that creates images through high-frequency sound waves that the human ear cannot hear, does not use X-rays, is easily accessible, does not have any proven harm, and is the most widely used in imaging today. It can be used safely in all patients, including pregnant women and babies. Gall bladder, liver, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, bladder, uterus, ovaries, breast, thyroid, hip, testis, salivary glands, eye, fetal development in pregnant women can be examined in detail. Fine-needle aspiration, biopsies and fluid aspirations are performed under US guidance.

There are 2 US devices (Toshiba Applio 400) in our ultrasonography unit, and the devices have high-level technological equipment.
