What is Liquid Facelift ?
The liquid facelift, sometimes referred to in the market as “Aqua Lift” or “AQA Lift,” is an aesthetic application where combinations of fillers and Botox are used to recover the face without surgical intervention.
Important Note: “AQA Lift” is not a standard medical technique name on its own; it is generally a term used by clinics for marketing purposes.
What is a Liquid Facelift?
- Volume Loss: Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are mostly used to fill the loss of volume in the face.
- Wrinkle Management: Botulinum toxin (Botox) is added to reduce expression lines.
- Aim: To lift the face and provide a young and rested appearance.
Areas of Application
- Cheekbones
- Nasolabial lines (lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth)
- Jawline
- Temples
- Under-eye area
- Brow lift (with Botox)
Who is it Applied to?
- Those with mild to moderate facial sagging
- Individuals who do not want surgery
- Individuals with volume loss in their face
- Generally preferred for ages 30 and over
Who is it Not Applied to?
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women
- Those with active infections
- Those with allergies to fillers or Botox
- Individuals with advanced facial sagging (surgery may be more appropriate)
- Certain autoimmune diseases
Side Effects and Treatment
Common (Mild): Swelling, bruising, sensitivity, and mild pain.
More Serious (Rare): Asymmetry or infection.
Is There a Treatment? Yes: Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with Hyaluronidase. If infection occurs, antibiotics are used.
Things to Consider After Application
- Do not lie down for the first 4–6 hours.
- Do not apply pressure to the injection areas.
- Do not perform heavy exercise for 24 hours.
- Do not consume alcohol on the first day.
- Stay away from saunas, Turkish baths, and excessively hot environments for a few days.
- Generally postpone makeup for 24 hours.
- Apply cold compresses as recommended by the doctor.
How Long Does it Last?
The general effect of a “liquid facelift” lasts an average of 6–12 months. This varies according to the person’s age, skin structure, and the products used.
NCTF 135 HA (Paris Glow)
NCTF (New Cellular Treatment Factor), known colloquially as Paris Glow, is a mesotherapy method used to revitalize the skin and slow down the signs of aging.
- Rich Content: It has a complex structure consisting of hyaluronic acid, 12 vitamins, 24 amino acids, 6 coenzymes, 5 nucleic acids, and 6 minerals.
- Mechanism of Action: It triggers collagen and elastin production by stimulating fibroblast cells in the skin.
- Benefits: It provides moisture to the skin, lightens fine lines, tightens pores, and gives the skin a natural radiance (glow).
- Application Protocol: It is generally planned as 3–5 sessions with intervals of 15 days or 1 month depending on the person’s needs.
Summary
The liquid facelift is an effective option for those seeking non-surgical rejuvenation. However, this method is not as permanent as a surgical facelift and is not sufficient for advanced sagging. The most important point is that the procedure is performed by an experienced physician.
